βIn December 2024, I had the privilege of leading the graphic design and art direction for the Sondershop Modemesse 2024, a distinguished fashion fair held on 19 December at Kaserne Basel, a renowned cultural and artistic venue in Basel. The event seamlessly combined elements of a fair and market, structured into three primary formats: TALK, MARKET, and WORKSHOP. A central focus of the project was to unify these diverse components under a cohesive visual language while ensuring each retained its distinct identity.β
Drawing inspiration from the festive Christmas season, the design centred around a core palette of red, complemented by silver and yellow as secondary colours. This choice not only evoked the seasonal spirit but also enhanced the visual appeal across various event materials. To maintain brand continuity, we carried forward the distinctive lettering introduced during the "SonderPOP" event in the summer of 2023, reinforcing the brand's identity and ensuring a seamless visual experience for attendees familiar with our previous work.β
The culmination of these design elements contributed to a vibrant and cohesive atmosphere at Sondershop Modemesse 2024, reflecting both the festive season and the innovative spirit of Basel's fashion scene.
